Lions and…well, more lions.

She can’t get enough.  All the different faces and manes;  I can’t get enough of her imagination.

One of the many inspired by Ed Emberley.  I have a stack of Happy Drawing and plans for a quilt in my sketchbook that might need one of these guys included into the backing of the quilt.

This embroidered lion has been sitting with half a mane.  I hope he “grows” more hair soon.

I love this guy’s curly mane.  When she noticed I was documenting him she came over to confirm I had an appropriate  photograph.

Yesterday she laid out a small quilt top on the ground and we dropped everything to sew it together.   Her confidence in creative matters is inspiration to this consistently indecisive mama.
